  • ⅓ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ginger
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (for coating)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • ¼ tsp salt (for frosting)
  • 2 ½ cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, ginger, and nutmeg.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until combined. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
