  • 1 15oz can pure pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup (110ml) vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup (110ml) milk
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, vegetable oil, sugars, eggs, vanilla extract, milk, and pumpkin puree until combined.
  4. Gently combine wet and dry ingredients; do not overmix.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 60-80 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. While cooling on a wire rack, mix powdered sugar with maple syrup for the glaze.
  8. Drizzle glaze over cooled bread before slicing.
