  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In another bowl, combine eggs, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pipe batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about three-quarters full. Bake for 8–10 minutes.
  6. Allow donuts to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. While cooling, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  8. Dunk each donut into the glaze and let set on the wire rack.
