  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets (optional)
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned (5–7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil; simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. If using broccoli, add it to the skillet and cook until tender (3–4 minutes).
  5. Prepare rice according to package instructions if not done already.
  6. Serve cooked rice topped with the beef mixture in bowls.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and optional sesame seeds.
