  • prepared pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup sliced white mushrooms
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella ball
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F.
  2. In a saucepan, combine tomato sauce, salt, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and garlic powder. Heat on low for about 5 minutes.
  3. Stretch pizza dough into a circle on a pizza stone.
  4. Spoon sauce onto the dough, leaving an inch for the crust.
  5. Create spiderweb design using shredded mozzarella.
  6. Prepare mushroom slices by cutting small lines at their base and poking holes for a spooky look.
  7. Arrange mushroom skulls on pizza.
  8. Bake for about 10 minutes.
  9. Cut fresh mozzarella into ghost shapes and add them to the pizza after the initial bake; return it to the oven for another 2 minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve!
