  • 3 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (for crumb topping)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (for crumb topping)
  • 1/4 cup cold butter (for crumb topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and coat a donut pan with non-stick baking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon for the crumb topping. Cut in cold butter until it resembles coarse meal. Chill while preparing the batter.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine sour cream, egg, melted butter, and brown sugar. Gently fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
  4. Fill each donut mold three-quarters full with batter and top with crumb mixture.
